Our Amazing Staff

Beach House people are amazing! It starts with you, of course – our residents and neighbors. And, our staff is experienced, compassionate, and professional. Our nurses, activity directors, housekeepers, professional chefs, therapists, office managers, maintenance folks – all are here to serve you. But our most cherished employees are our caregivers – you can count on these fine people to take care of your every need.

Our Executive Director is a trained assisted living professional. But we go beyond what is mandated by the State – our management and nursing personnel are exposed to rigorous training and continuing education with Life Care Services.

Your transition to Beach House promises to be a smooth one. Our staff has worked with numerous families to assist during this important transition. We work closely with every new resident to ensure their move goes as smoothly as possible, from settling into their new home, to meeting new friends at meal time, and everything in between.

Chris Farinella

Executive Director

Chris Farinella serves as our Executive Director and has worked in the Healthcare Industry and has served in the U.S. Air Force before moving from New Jersey to Florida.

Chris is passionate about cultivating an environment in which both his residents and his staff can thrive and grow! He believes strongly in empowering residents to maintain independence and live life to the fullest.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending weekends outdoors hiking, kayaking, or relaxing at the beach.


Jessica Terrell, RN

Director of Nursing

Jessica started at Beach House in March, 2018 serving as our nighttime supervisor, and then to daytime. She was recently promoted to Director of Nursing as she continues to build relationships with our residents and their families.

Jessica is known around Beach House for her compassion and ensuring that each individual resident is well cared for.

Jessica enjoys knitting, crocheting, and playing computer games when not at Beach House. She also enjoys fishing and camping with her brother and visiting her family in Orlando.

Jessica Mills

Director, Sales & Marketing

Jess serves as our Director of Sales and Marketing and recently relocated from Las Vegas. Throughout life, Jess has been consistently told she has an “old soul”, so senior living seems a natural fit. Her passion to enrich lives in her local community allows a fresh perspective to help build a strong, empowered resident base at Beach House.

Outside of work, Jess enjoys spending time with her dog, relaxing outdoors, listening to live music, and attending events in the community.


Jacob Taylor

Director of Culinary Services

Jacob Taylor continues to strive to create amazing meals that are both pleasing to the eye and nutritious. Through hard work, dedication, and passion for serving seniors, Jacob is changing the way seniors dine. He enjoys the challenge of creatively expressing himself through the dishes that he creates and is consistently expanding his knowledge in culture, food, and nutrition and has a passion for garden fresh and scratch cooking. He enjoys making a personal connection with the residents and families and hopes to continue to enrich lives with amazing food that’s reminiscent of good times.

In his spare time he enjoys building computers, playing video games, watching movies, reading, and spending time with his wife Ashley, and daughter Morrigan.


Ann Gannon

Life Enrichment Director

Ann Gannon has recently come to beach house as the Life Enrichment Director of Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Ann has a very extensive background in healthcare administration and has been creating life enrichment programs throughout Florida for over ten years.

Ann believes that life enrichment programs and personally tailored programs for people in assisted living and memory care are very important and significant for physical and emotional wellbeing.

Every person has a story, have led interesting lives and it is Ann’s passion to validate and enhance all of our resident’s daily lives.

Ann is very excited to have the opportunity to work at Beach house and to have the opportunity to bring new, exciting, and stimulating
programs to the Beach House Community.


Catherine Rogers

Business Office Manager

Cathy serves as our business office manager and has spent many years working in the financial industry before finding her home at Beach House. Cathy is a native to the Jacksonville Beach community and is happy to be providing services that benefit our seniors.

Cathy lives in Jacksonville Beach with her husband. When she’s not at work, she loves spending time with her family and with her puppy, Fiona. She also enjoys doing cross fit, and scuba diving with her family.
